Possible Research Topics

1. How historically accurate video games are.
World War 2 is one of my greatest interests and many of my favorite games are based off of this conflict. In order to find out how accurate these video games are i will need to find out which games are based on that war and compare their storylines.

2. Global warming and the issue of electricity vs. gasoline
I thougt with this paper I could explore different power and vehicle options and wether or not the switch from gas to electric really is energy-efficent. I think this would be the most popular topic of my three because of the world we live in and the media emphasis on "Going Green"

3. Why bad news is good news for the media.
Accidents and suffering sells newpapers. I do not think that enough information could be found to make a long enough report. But if you think ohterwise and think this is my best choice than great and i will go with it.

Previous Research Experience

I have never been a very strong writer so it is no surprise when Ireveal that this class makes me NERVOUS. I was homeschooled all throughout my highschool years and the only research experience I recieved were book reports. English 101 with Dr. John Cussen Proved to be a challange.

I passed with a C+, which i found to be acceptable, for a poor writer

Thankfully, I found myself in my element this Fall semester in J. Kinch's American Prose Classics class. All of the work was assigned as journals on books that were assigned to use as readings.

Ask me to write about a book and I will do well, but i never have done well with research reports.
